Juan has worked exclusively with health retreats and running his own practices in Sydney and Melbourne helping individuals, families, and groups develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
As a Qigong Teacher and Reiki Master, Juan combines techniques from various Chinese medicine practices to create a blended practice for each of his clients.
Juan has now opened Harmonia Health - an Organic Grocery and Wellness Centre - a holistic approach to living well.

Known as the mother of Healing in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qigong is a holistic practice that cultivates and balances the ‘qi’ - the life force energy that flows through the universe. Qigong massage is a combination of Qigong practice, remedial massage, and acupressure techniques, where soft or firm pressure is applied to specific areas in order to alleviate tension in the muscles to improve posture and flexibility and reduce the severity of musculoskeletal problems.
The overall goal of Qigong massage is to provide relief from pain, insomnia, and tension as well as increase energy levels to promote general wellbeing. With the circulation of blood, the immune cells throughout the Lymphatic system can be improved through the acupressure points.

Developed in 1922 by Dr Mikao Usui, Reiki healing is used to promote a sense of calm while enhancing general wellness. This Japanese hands-on, holistic healing system involves the transfer of ‘qi’, or the universal energy, through the palms of the practitioner to encourage healing.
Using gentle hand pressures placed on different areas of the body, energy is transferred in and around the body to channel energies and work to balance the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual chakras.
